Jennifer Tilly is the most visible female poker player on Earth. After she won the Ladies Only No Limit Texas Hold 'em event in 2005, the actress joined her boyfriend Phil Laak as the only poker-playing couple to win in both the World Poker Tour and the World Series of Poker.

Jennifer Tilly was born in September of 1958; which is surprising because she has played a sex symbol as recently as seven years ago. She got her big film break in 1989 in the film "The Fabulous Baker Boys" where she first displayed her seductive on-screen persona.

Her biggest acting success came when she was nominated for an Oscar for her role in Woody Allen's film "Bullets Over Broadway", and she gained even more notoriety when she played in "Liar, Liar", "Bound" and did voice work on "Family Guy". As a side note, Tilly was married to "Simpsons" co-creator Sam Simon during this time; she is one of the few people with ties to both shows.

After she divorced Sam Simon, she began dating poker pro Phil Laak before she took up the game herself. She is one of the top female players in the world, based on her performance in the WSOP and the WPT. The main criticism against Tilly is that she has not yet won a tournament and her performances on "High Stakes Poker" leave a lot to be desired.
